InDesign- Illustrator - 2024
This is a restaurant menu for a 60s hippy-themed restaurant with unique live music. It communicates the colorful, musical, and bright theme of the restaurant. Natural shapes, fun typography, and vibrant colors achieve this goal.
I began this project by focusing on format and typography. I chose two soft, curvy fonts that worked well with the theme.
Color evolved a lot throughout this process. Both due to print limitations and changing intentions. I also worked a lot with the wordmark, which is a play on the words Groovy, Beats, and Eats.
The intention was to create something fun that communicated the theme correctly and still had all the necessary information.
