SteadyPlate is a simple meal planner for easy, independent cooking.
This is the app for anyone who struggles to stay motivated to eat healthy, consistent meals. Many people struggle to foster consistent, healthy eating habits. They might lead busy lives, they may have trouble making decisions regularly, and might thrive better in a structured environment. Steady Plate strives to solve these problems.
Initial development was focused on the flow and ease of use for the app. As design was eventually incorporated, the focus was on creating a friendly, bright energy.
Brainstorming, flow diagrams and app wireframes
The final design features a simple body text typeface and a bolder header. The logotype has a fun air and contrasts well with the more uniform typefaces.
The palette is soft, featuring a springy green, a bold yellow, and a subtle blue.
